Ok everyone... I've been reading through the forums, and noticed that some of them fit together. A. He will marry someone of noble birth. It will end in tragedy.
We are ALL thinking Arya. What if the title "Eldest" really does mean 3.. and he maries like his sister, who is the third rider. Then it ends in tragedy because he finds out he maried his sister

I don't quite understand your theory... Can you explain it again? What is the 3 eldest suppose to mean? and why is the third rider is eragon's sister and why is he marry her?

I think that he think that Arya is Eregons sister. We she will became a dragonrider and we she will fall in love with Eragon they will marry. If Eragon find out that Arya is his sister I could by baaaad

The next rider (probably not arya) should be his sister, they are all human, all siblings, and there needs to be a balance between girls and boys. Then again, there needs to be a balance between humans and elves.

Getting back on subject, how could Arya ever be Eragon's sister. Arya is an elf, and Eragon is a human, not to mention Arya's mother is Queen Islanzadi.

Point one: he is not born in royalty [by a trustful servant who helps a king, yes, but not the king himself] and arya is... angela said it MIGHT end in tragedy and that he loves her, not necessarily marrys him, and events are leading up to the fact that arya likes him but then again, she cannot marry him as elves do not believe in marrage.

Point two: he probably does not have a sister.

Third and final point: if morzan really had a daughter, she must be older than eragon yet younger than murtague AND galbatorix would know that and she would already serve the empire or be with the Varden or be in hiding. for all we know, there is no evidence supporting your thoery.

for all i know the 3rd can be Roran... i didnt even knew that he has a sister... but im still halfway trough Eldest so... im not sure but i think arya and eragon would be a better pair...

1: This is NOT possible because of all evidence that he, Eragon, is not of "noble" blood... he was "sired by a monster" as he put it...
2: Morzan and Selena probably did not have a daughter or a third child whatsoever...
3: It may be possible that he has a sister, but if you think that, HOW would he find out???

It never said that he would marry, or that it would end in tragedy for sure. She couldn't see where it would go.

Well, he is just a teenager like us. He might have been through a bunch of things we never dream of going through, so he's a big an idiot on the subject of love as any teenager. I guess that means that Faolin had to have been a lover. But there's still a 30% chance that he was Arya's brother. I read this book once, these two kids through out most of the book believe that they're twins. Turns out that they weren't, they were cousins. They boy was the older one. She was like, 6 weeks younger than him and her dad was his uncle. They thought he was both of their uncle. They were with him for most of the book and he didn't tell them the truth till there was like, 3 chapters left. You know how it works.lol

Well, she says that Faolin made a beautiful flower just for her. I don't know about you guys, but I've never done anything like that to my sister. Besides, Islazandi would ask how Faolin fared, because he was with her when the Shade attacked, and she didn't know what happened to Arya.

It's not really all that cool when you think about it. Arya was so calm and accepting when she found out Eragon was the next Rider. Vanir acted like he could kill Eragon with his bare hands. If them two are mother and son, I don't blame them for not broadcasting it...

Still that would be awesome. But, not likely, no offense. Because the age 20 is still considered a child, based on what Oromis said. Arya is 100. Vanir is probably in his thirties. Arya was gone for a while. So it is possible. I would really like for that to be true.
