what would you guys think if CP killed Galb off within the first few chapters of book 4 then Eragon accidentally resurrects him through the vault of souls? and he comes back with more power than before. it would make book 4 pretty interesting.

it's a possibility, but galby is already so powerful, i don't think eragon could beat him if he was more powerful

well in some of the other Threads, we've been figuring that the Vault of Souls will allow Eragon to resurrect someone. and if that's true, then no it would not kill him.
I guess Galb doesn't have to have more power, i just thought that it would make and extremely good ending for the books if he was killed then came back and Eragon had to find another way to kill him, again.

well maybe galby will die and then eragon will accidentally release something else from the VoS. like maybe that creature in the eragon movie

i agree with both your statements sjlsscsdoo. also i don't think that the VoS will hold that info. also if there is a creature, it has got to be more powerful than Galb in order to make a good story, but it doesn't have to be as hard to kill.

I don't think the VoS would hold a creature like that because it was created only for the stupid movie

we know that! we were just saying, if not Galb then a nightmarish creature that wants to wreak havoc, destruction, and wants to kill everyone more than Galb did. and that was just a reference idea. the creature in the movie looked really stupid(not to mention that everyone else did to, except Brom and Murtagh)

yeah I guess it was him and i think the book defeats my idea, the exact quote is 'Then, when all seem lost and you power insufficient, go to the Rock of Kuthian and speak your name to open the Vault of Souls.'

well maybe there's a creature that will help Eragon kill Galby
