 prophecy? does any1 have any idea what blagdens litl riddle means????

His riddles are like keys to doors. Find the right lock and you open the door.
I think two possibilities: Either he means a battle will occur during the invasion that will go astray.
Possibly in/near Helgrind in search of Roran's wife,
or perhaps when he looks for the vault of souls. (Perhaps both are entwined.)
And the second forecasting maybe about Eragon's inheritance.
i.e.: Who's your daddy?
The Raven's foretelling won't be as important as Slombum's and is not meant to direct Eragon. Instead to prepare him for it, whatever 'it' may be.

I have already answered the riddles on this forum. They are meant for Eragon as to who his father is and who will betray him(remember he thought it was Roran).
By beak and bone,
Mine blackened stone
Sees rooks and crooks
And bloody brooks!
Rooks is an old world bird. It is talking of the many birds waiting to feast after the battle in Surda.
Crooks is talking of Murtagh stealing Zar'roc from Eragon.
Bloody Brooks is the Jiet river as Elain and Roran see it when they look over the side of the ship and see the river running with the blood of falling soldiers.

While two may share two: This is talking about Eragon and Murtagh maybe sharing the same two parents(Morzan and Selena)
And one of two is certainly one: This is talking about Eragon and Murtagh sharing at least one parent(Selena)
One might be two: This is saying that one of the parents, the father, maybe two (Brom and Morzan)
These are important riddles as for the fact they will give Eragon his true father and his Rightful Inheritance(Brom's Sword)

The first riddle is obviously about the battle of the Varden vs. the Empire. The other one is also about heritage. F'lar05 is right all the way.
