actually, that is probably right! while they're at helgrind, eragon will stumble across the egg and bring it to arya to protect it and that's when it'll hatch for her!

Why would the dragon egg be in helgrind with the ra'zac knowing that they are gone half the time. And they wouldn't be able to protect it very good because in strength comparison Eregon could kill them easily.

That's what I think. Why would Galbatorix move the egg form it's inpregnable (according to Brom) location in his castle to the Helgrind. The Ra'zac are powerful, but not that trustable from Galbatorix's standpoint.

P.S. who made up Galbatorix's pet name "Galby"???

I think they are strong, and I think they are trustable but they are very weak in comparison to Eregon this supports my theory that there is more to them than meets the eye. But what?

Probably the Razac will use Katrina as a bait to lure Eragon And Roran so that its makes it easy for Galbatorix and Murtagh to defeat them.
And surely it won't be so easy to steal the 3rd egg , Galbatorix himself is after all protecting them.

Maybe Katrina is a trap so that Eragon will have to go to the Helgrind to rescue her. Then Murtagh will fight Eragon... but this doesn't explain why the egg is there!!!

We already said katrina is a trap, but I dont think that murtagh and eregon are goingto fight one on one again. I think that the new rider and eregon will fight Murtagh and Galby.

But the reason the ra'zac have katrina is to flush out roran and capture him, so eregon will come out and they can kill or have someone else kill him.

Galbatorix knows that Eragon and Roran are related. So he will send Murtagh to help capture Eragon. Only problem is that Saphira won't be able to fly 3 people... the egg isn't there anyways!

I think when Eregon and Roran go to rescue her, galabatrix will know and when the ra'zac and eregon are fighting eregon will kill the ra'zac and Murtagh will be waiting for him shortly after

I'm going to have to agree with Elvenwarrior on this one. Murtagh isn't as evil as Galbatorix, but he's deffinately not good. He's in the grey area, nearer to the bad side, but not much nearer. His friendship with Eragon is pulling him towards the good side, but his oaths are stronger.
