 American IdolI've been watching American Idol for a while (you people are crazy
 ) but only for the REALLY bad auditions. When it these sort of shows start getting good, I don't watch them. I thought there were some hilarious auditions, but there was one from this old guy called Sherman who had made a petition with his wife so that he could have an audition. His wife died from cancer 2 days before the audition, and he sung "You belong to me" for her- it was so sad

Well, it's practically the exact same show, but in the UK lol.
And I think it's shown here on five US, which would explain it as they shows American shows. Hence the US part.

lol, I stopped watching it now- it's only decent singers left- no funny auditions. Did you see i t years ago when Ant and Dec dressed up and put on bad American accents and auditioned? lol it was hilarious- you could see Simon Cowell thinking"... hang on..."

lol, I'm not sure. When I saw it, they showed it on a programme called "Ant and Dec's Saturday night take-away." They used to dress up and do silly things like that each week- it sounds stupid but it was actually really funny. Once they dressed up as two fat women working in a spa place, and were doing "face treatments" on people, which was actually just mushy peas and stuff lol.
