I hope the book is huge.

I wouldn't mind, I love CP books and will read them forever.

book 3 is probly gonna be atleast 800 pages

i want it 2 take long 2 finish. then it is(or should be) very long. but i am going crazy here.

i heard it was going to be around 1000 pages or more. Christopher Paolini has to tie everything in. i hope that he doesn't cut it down, i want everything to make sense and tie in perfectly.

however...i don't believe that it will come out in august...because if he makes the book long(which he has to) its going to take a LONG time....not to mention he has to get the main idea down about how it will end in his head...

yeah...it HAS been a while since eldest....so i guess hes got most of it done in his head....but he still has to write the whole thing

In an interview somewhere (can't remember where) CP said that he knew what was going to happen ever since he started Eragon. True he will have to work out the wording and some of the finer details, but the most of time, I'm guessing, will be spent editting.
I hope it goes on forever, I never want it to end!

i think it is going to be 800-900 pgs long. it would take a months begore i finish it

well book one i think had like 725pages book 2 like 740 so book 3 will probably be over 800

I think it's going to be some were around 1100 pages.

i hope this book is going to be worth the wait. ill be very angry if it has a crappy ending or something

Yeah, it better be HUGE, I will read it a little slower so I can take in evrything, but when you get to exciting parts you cant help but read fast. But instead of wondering how many pages, what about its price?.....

Anyways I think there were about 498 pages in Eragon and about 670 pages in Eldest.

book 1 was 497, book 2 was 668, 800+ in book 3 would be nice, and i wish they would just come up with a release date so we could know how much time we still have to wait.

well its not like a movie when its scedualed (huge spelling mistake dont tell me) but for this its different because cp is still righting it so we have no idea.

i think it will b anywhere between 800-1000 pages. CP has a lot to tie in and it's the climax, so he has to make it long and exciting. almost like a Stephen King novel; fascinating page-turner.

I would guee 800- 1000 for this book has alot to be wraped up in this serious...... although i did read an interview with cp on some site and he said this book will be the end of the serious BUT he plans some time after visting other worlds to come visit the world of alegasia and the dragon riders again... which is nice to hear. Maybe some more history of alegasia.... or a whole new inheritence triogy in itself .!! o well i guess well just have to wait and see

I spent an entire day on Eldest pausing only to eat and drink then I banished myself from this realm and into the realm of ALAGAESIA.... Wondering wat wud happen to me if the 3rd book was too long and I couldn't stop and kept on reading into the nite... staying up for the entire nite for Book 3?! I can so imagine myself doing that.... w/e the date, i don't think it will take as long as july 08... he already released the third chapter, and he wouldnt release that without the whole book being looked ove and edited at least a little... if it had to go later than this summer, i would so no longer than this december/ early jan.... But im really hoping by the end of this summer...

I'm hoping to but who knows what the marketers wan't to do with it. If the book is done it is thier turn to do some work.

I think that becasue it's taken him 2 years for eldest after eragon, so I think it will take 2 years or until next summer which would be 2 years.

yea it make sense to come out in the winter of this year, but much later than that idk... i think it will at least be out by around christmas if anything... after all, CP was planning to have the book finished by this march, and it was... untill last minute editing came in and he added even more to the book. If it was already edited once, the book can't take that much longer to hit the market... but who knows..... the book could not come out till 2010 for all we know.... we just don't have enough info i guess... . it makes me wonder... he couldn't at least give us little updates on how the book was coming together... maybe an estimated date of release

well don't get so worried about this series being finished... i read with an interview with CP that he wasnt leaving alegasia forever... just for a little while, then going back into it again. *back on topic*--- yea book 3 is gonig to be at least 1k pages... i heard when CP finished his first draft of the book, it was already 1k pages, then he went back to edit and add more, which he still works on today....
