 Going to Puerto Rico...I have had the chance chat on IM with some of you and you may be aware I'll be leaving to Puerto Rico this Wednesday, May 2nd and I shall be returning, God willing, on Monday, May 14th.
My brother will be undergoing a triple by-pass heart surgery and I will be there during the operation and while he's at the hospital. So I will ask you to please keep him in your prayers during and after the surgery. Hopefully, I will be back on Monday with a light heart and peace of mind from home. Thanks to you both Serena and Osthato. It's kind of scary when someone you love goes into surgery. There's always a 50/50 chance for everything, but I am praying he will have a 100% success and recovery!!

Thanks Orik, You're a sweetheart! I did some research and the odds are in his favor. Since he's never been a drinker or a smoker, his chances are great.
My daughter's Taekwondo teacher went through that same surgery a year ago and he's doing excellent. He' even been competing nationally for the past few months. As I said, there are so many good thoughts and prayers out there for him, that I am feeling a lot more positive then when the news was given to me! Thanks again Orik! _________________ ~.~.~.~.~.~ |

Yea srry if im late too i never really looked at the leavers. This sucks when something like this happens to a family member. My brother also went through some type of heart surgery, but i dont remember what exactly it was for it was about 5 years back but it sucked

Today is Saturday, May 12th and I was able to return before the 14th as I had originally scheduled.
Instead of a triple by-pas he had four arteries replaced. Willie's heart arteries were in a pretty bad shape. However, he came out great from surgery and has had so far an awesome recovery. His surgery was last Thursday and he was released from the hospital early Monday morning. I was able to return and see Sabrina off to her Senior Prom! It was priceless!!!! I cannot thank you enough for all your prayers and good wishes. My faith in the power of prayer has been renewed and strengthened with all this scary crisis. I can never regret having so many wonderful friends over the Cyber Space and it makes every minute I spend here worthwhile. Again, thank you for you words of encouragement, prayers and good thoughts.
