Hello everyone! I have figured out cool stuff about book three.

By the way...A trilogy is a series that features 3 book/ movies/ anything else like that. Eragon was meant to have 3 books but.. read on..

1. It is coming out in September 2008
2 Paolni revealed that it was so big that is would have to be split in two, therefore, The Inheritance series is no longer a trilogy.
3. Book 4 is scheduled to come out in 2010, the month or year is not yet known.
4. I'm sure you have heard the title of book 3 is empire. It is not. It is ' Light and Shadow'

5. In book 3 it is revealed whether or not Saphira will find a mate. It also will be revealed who is Eragon's true father!

6. Book 6 is estimated to be over 1000 pages.

7. The cover features and emerald green dragon facing right.


Maybe some of you have heard these facts.

there is NOT going to be a 6th book. It is NOT going to be called "Light and Shadow" and CP would NEVER say anything to suggest Morzan not being Eragon's father or it would kill it for the people who don't think that hard.

Just because we're new to the site, doesn't mean that we are all ignorant about the books. It just means that we're new to the site. You SAID BOOK 6 is estimated to be OVER 1000 PAGES!! i thought there were only suppose to be 4 books? can you tell me why you said 6 books was it a typo or something else? thanks for the "spoilers"!! i can't wait for the new books!!

Just to let everybody here know, that the 3rd book is NOT going to be Empire...It's going to be brisingr...It says so on the official site.

Also i just want to say, though everyone must know this, that the cover of brisingr is gold, with glaedr in the middle...and of course he's gold too
