After what he did in the battle will they now restore the friendship that was there between the Riders and the dwarves?

i think they will hate him even more
because the murtagh killed there king and if erageon had not been there murtagh probably not have killed there king

But still he fought for the dwarves and will they not want to help him in his fight with Galbotarix? Now that they know that there is another Rider who is against them.

He really has to do something good for them to forgive him!

The point, in other words, is that Eragon is hated by the dwarf Clan because the dragons killed many of their people. Now, in the battle of the burningPlain, Hrothgar dies from a rider attack.

This will make them ferocious. Eragon can do one of the following:

1. Stop representing the dwarves.

2. Restore the Isdar Mithrim, the Star Rose.

yea i think he should leave the clan, it would really help

Once they repair the Star Rose and avenge Hrothgar's death, they'll be a bit more friendly. Once he kills Galbatorix, they'll have a parade in his honor and a week of feasting!!!

Galbatorix is the entire reason they are so P.O.ed and the reason for their decline, so why wouldn't they be happy squared???

They think that all Dragons and Riders are bad, which makes them ignorant, and the only way for them to change that is if they are shown that Eragon and Saphira are good.

But they are still quite a lot of dwarves who support him and maybe some of the others will realize that by doing this Eragon will help them become strong in defeating Galbatorix.

but by bringing the dwarves and the elves closer he is also breaking apart the dwarves. Many dwarves were mad for him being apart of Durmgrimst Ingeitum

Leaving the clan would be an insult. There are some who support him. As I said before, once Eragon beats Galbatorix, the the tears of what's her face will revoke their blood-feud thing. (i didn't get much sleep last night, so my memory and word choice isn't the best)

As far as I can remember, the clan hated his guts; if they find out that he knows that Murtagh was responsible of Hrothgar's death and he didn't tell anyone, it will be even worse.

I don't think that Eragon is in a hurry to go back to Tarnag!
