Personally, i think murtagh are gloom and quiet, even dark. I never really like him along d'journey... and i can't see what makes eragon so fond of him; apart from a good companion and share same interests. Maybe anyone can tell me what is so exciting about murtagh in book 1?

I do have to admit it was kinda unexiting but he still is kinda cool so I like him

I didn't like Murtagh in book 1 but now since he's got a kick arse dragon and Za'roc he's sweet

just because he's on Galbatorix's side now, doesnt mean that he's THAT bad. Murtagh is the kind of character you would LOVE to HATE, but LOVE in the end. wahahaha!!! after all, he is the Eldest. and he has Thorn. kewl!!! Eragon doesnt hate him, so, why would I?

I think eragon will beat the crap out of murtagh so that he cant stop Eragon from fighting Galbatorix but he will not kill murtagh

You guys know what would be very weird? if Vanir was actually a spy for Galby. Then he throws up all the secrets and a war goes between elves and Galby. It's a small chance but i think it may be possible.

well vanir isnt really mean it is just that he was mad that they might lose the war because eragon was human and he was weak.

Although I really, really, really(sorry) want him to stay alive I fear that in the end he may die. But I think for a good cause. It seems as though his character is one of those where they are important and seem like they are good, then go bad, then turn back to the good side and then finally die for a noble cause. I don't want him to die but CP must do what he must I suppose...and if he does it better be in a good way too.

Hmm...I don't know about this. Eragon has always seemed like a very forgiving person to me. Plus I still think murtagh is good, or at least has some good in him and that's what Eragon saw and what he would like to see again. I think it's possible for Eragon to forgive him.

Well I expect so yeah! I mean he loves Arya and he cares about her a lot. But it just depends o what he does from now on and if he tries to redeem himself then there is a chance for forgiveness...just depends. Like they say...It's better to forgive than forget.
