Hmmm if dragons work on coloured pencil base than you should carefuly choose colour of her mate. Shining light green or swamp brown would look weird on dragon...
The book has been happy so far and I don't think CP has heart to do somethign nasty to his characters so I'm pretty sure she will find someone. Question is if she would have to leave Alagaesia for it.

because thorn is evil and saphira hates him, shruiken is evil too, the gold dragon has already refused her because she belongs to someone else, and that someone else is the green dragon because he is the only other good dragon. the only way she would ever mate with thorn or shruiken is if they were the last dragons on earth and i doubt that will happen because there offspring would b used for evil and saphira wouldnt want that

I want Saphira finds a mate but the odds are agenst her if you look at the patern 1st book there is Saphira 2nd book Thorn 3rd book there Glader is on the front. if there was a green dragon it probly would be on the frunt. and we don't even know if the 3rd egg haches. But maby in the other land Eragon go to there will be dragons.

I think she will because if she doesn't, the dragons will die off in alagaesia and the riders would cease to exist.

The child would be MUCH too young to do anything in the battle. Now, the mates could fight side by side.

I just hope Thorn and Saphira get together. Not just Saphira, but even Thorn needs someone to love. I think he might save her in book 4 and then she may see him in a different light and they grow closer and then romance blossoms.

I certainly hope that she will find her mate....But i won't guess who will it be......

Have you even read Brisingr? It says specifically that he hates Galbatorix and he wants to be free.

what about galbatorix's dragon. He isn't galbatorixs original dragon and therefore might be exempt from the effects of a rider dying. When the rider dies the dragon goes insane. maybe shruikan won't go insane.

i doubt it'll happen... i personally think that shruikan is gonna die... cuz galby's dark magic has twisted him so much that he cant turn good...

This is how I see it.

1. Thorn and Saphira have a daughter. It turns out to be violet.

2. The violet dragon falls in love with Greenie.

3. Then, if there are any wild dragons left, they could mate with their children.

I think that saphira and eragon leave alagaesia and go to other lands to find saphira a mate.

nah, cuz in eragon's dream there are 2 dragons, and since saphira is female, and theres no way saphira is ever going to die, and since one of the ppl getting on the boat is eragon, then one of the dragons is saphira, and the other is inevitably male.

CP did say in an interview that Thorn and Murtagh will have larger roles and much more page time.

He also said that Saphira's feelings to Thorn are not as extreme as they are to Shruikan and that she is also beginning to see Thorn in a different and better light.

i hope Thorn and Murtagh decide to try to change their names and join eragon. he could also steel some HOH's from galby before he found out that Murgagh's name had changed.

well, i doubt galby even told them where they are kept, but thorn/murtagh will definitely turn good.

and yeah that theory did come from earlier in this topic (actually it was like 4-5 posts above )
