eldestlover is right on the dates, i think people might have gotten it mixed up with when the Eldest Deluxe Edition comes out, that is in the fall

Man how I wish this were true but it's not done yet...*sigh*. At least I have the first two books though(hardback) so I can read them before the 3rd one comes out. I am definitely putting it on my wishlist. It's what I did for Eragon and Eldest!!!

Well I encourage you to read, read, and read as much as you can. It's good for you expecially when reading the Inheritance trilogy. Oh yes, and have lot's of fun!

That's good. reading books from friends is always good...it tends to open up a variety of different genre's and types of books to your eyes.

Release date for Book III? Your guess is as good as ours! We can assure you that Book III will be released some time after 2006, most likely Summer of 2007. However, at this point, there is no official release date for the book.

Don't we all. Wow!, bigger than Eldest...it's going to be close to or over a 1000 pages. Yeah CP has a lot to explain so you would figure it would be that long. Still I think it will be well worth the wait...I mean the other books were, weren't they?

Umm..no not really. That's why it's called a trilogy. But anythings possible...just there won't be a book 4.

He could write a book about after the 3rd book, or people before the first, or mabey 100 years after Eragon's death or some thing I don't know the possablities are endless.

i don't think cp will write more about eragon, he may do something like "alagaesia adventures" and write about what's happening to other people during that time period, or he could write about the original riders!

Yeah isn't that what an epilogue is or something. Though it would be neat if CP wrote like a book about Brom before Eragon and when he had his dragon or something...too many possibilities though.

If only book 3 was already out then CP could be writing another series...that would be awesome. A series about the elven Eragon and his dragon would be neat.

All right, I haven't read all this, but let me just say this.
Book three will most likly not be out for another year or so. It takes him, as he has said in a interview, three years for each book, and didn't eldest come out only a year ago? And btw, The movie is coming out in December 15, go to the site if you don't believe me. And yeah, I sure hope the next book it thick cause its the last

not nesisarily (sry, spelling) look at the Harry Potter books, the 5th is bigger than the 6th. But i do think that empire will be pretty long. There is so much left to happen.

The third book will defnately be bigger than Eragon and Eldest, i mean think of how many openings there are to close off....

1000 pages in 4 days! wow, I can Read 100 pages in like 2 to 2 1/2 hours I think just a guess, but I wouldn't read it fast though, don't get me wrong I want to know what happens, but when I finish reading that's it, no more books, and the tought of that just makes me really sad, so i'm going to slow donw and take as much time as possible to read the third book, but not too long.
