Because Tornac trained Murtagh and Brom trained Eragon and they were evenly matched and idk, just thinking about it, i think it would be really cool. In a interview with C.P Someone asked if he could tell us more about Tornac, and he said no, he couldn't and that we had to read the next book, hinting that he would be explained, I really want to know more... and 15 years ago Morzan was killed nd he was the last of the Forsworn

but Tornac may have been the last but no one knew he was still alive and galby covered it up so no one would know

Well tornac could have been a really little brother, I mean I have friends who are like sixteen and their parents are pregnat with their siblings, that could be Brom and Tornac. And maybe Tornac was captured and forced to work for Morzan and grew attached to Murtagh ( it was odvious that Murtagh loved him) and he never escaped because of that

By the story plot we know that he taught Murtagh swordsmanship, so if we look at it at that angle he WAS working for Galbatorix. Let's say Galbatorix paid him to teach Murtagh; but it seems that Tornac, more than teacher had become a friend to him as he was supposed to escape from the castle with Murtagh.

yeah cause it said he was will to die for Murtagh, because he did... and Murtagh said he was filled with grief. So there was love there

I just really do not find any link that would lead to Tornac and Brom being brothers.

Did say he ever had a son? I don't remeber. It could be true though. But really really weird. Tornac could have been assigned to Murtagh so he would learn some fighting skills so he would survive. Galbatorix could have said that Tornac has to train him so when the time came he could have a really powerful Dragon Rider under his control.
