I havn't changed any part of your mind on the Nasuada subject, but the fact that you said "I believe" instead of just saying it isn't love (witch I believe it is) shows that i'm breaking through on the opinion vs fact subject. tch. i alread say "I believe" for things which there is no evidence to support either side. I have always done that. I can' PROVE my interpretation is right, neither can you. it depends on your interpretation. you havent' swayed me with a good enough argument. you probably won't be able to do so because you have already stated most of your evidence, which has failed to win me over. Your best case senario is i start to believe that Nasuada MAY love Eragon. But short of CP saying, "Eragon actually loves Nasuada and visa versa", there is NO chance of me agreeing that Eragon loves Nasuada.

i just noticed something: you don't read into love very deeply, thought you OVERANALIZE smaller things. By the end of Eldest, it is apparent to EVERYONE that Eragon loves Arya, and that's that.

I have edited a couple of posts which were out of line. However, IMNC you need to stop trying to convince people they are right or wrong. Even though you do not use specific words, you do drive people up the wall. Some people may have more tolerance than others, but it does not excuse it.

If you read the book really good and read it over and over and over agean, than you would come top the understanding that Eragons love for the noble birth would outlast empires so that would take out all the female characters that would seem to like or even be close Eragon. So unless the last dragon hatched For Nasuada than the only option for eragon to love some one that it would out lastout Empires would be the Elves. Unless the other probility that came up to me is that eragon leaves Alageasia, than finds another race of elves maby the fair fold and fall in love with one of them. Than that way the true prophecy that angela gave eraon would come true, because at the last of the propecy angela told him that he would leave the land of alagaesia forever and would never return.

That's a strong possibility. I have also seen how Eragon and Nasuada act towards eachother. But there's downside to that too. Unless Nasuada's the new DragonRider than Eragon's gunna outlive her.

Ummmmm.....I must have missed the part in Eragon and in Eldest where is says that Nasuada is royalty. Where does it say that she is royalty? The only thing that I've seen between them is being happy to see each other at the end of Eldest before the battle. Other than that I havn't seen anything that would convince me that they would get together.

I didn't really understand this part in Eragon (maybe proof that Eragon has feelings for Nasuada): "Murtagh's gaze shifted into the distance, and he shook his head. "'No, she only wanted to meet me. Doesn't she look like a princess? And the way she carries herself...'" Eragon listened to his praise with growing apprehension. It may mean nothing, he reminded himself. You're leaping to conclusions. Yet the foreboding would not leave him." (Paolini, 465-466). This could mean that Eragon is jealous of Murtagh liking Nasuada or maybe he just realized that Murtagh likes Nasuada. I was a little confused at this part. If anyone can clear things up for me it'll be appreciated.

All I think is that it means that Eragon was starting to think Murtagh liked Nasuada. I, personally, would like to see Murtagh and Nasuada together. Unfortunatly that now seems impossible. *sniff-sniff sob-sob*

I've hit the jackpot..I am over the moon! this is gotta be the answer! Eragon and Nasuada would be perfect. it's not too obvious in the book and that means nasuada has to be third dragon rider! I really hope eragon and Nasuada end up together.

They won't end up together. Nausada likes Murtagh and Murtagh likes Nasuada. Eragon is in love with Ayra- and if that suddenly changes in the third book and that fast- it would not be cool.

Perhaps but i certainly hope not. hopefully at the end eragon and nasuada will fall for each other.

If they fell in love with each other THAT fast, it would ruin so much.

The most likely reason Arya might be hiding her feelings for Eragon is because she (probably) loved Faolin, and he died, which shocked her. And if Eragon ends up dying on the battlefield, in war or disease or something of the sort, she doesn't want to feel that shock again. It's probably comparable to the shock of losing a dragon

SPOILERS (possibly)

Near the end, in a last battle against Galby, Eragon, Saphira, Arya and Nasuada will meet the enemy. Galbs will command Murtagh to kill Nasuada. Galbatorix will probably disarm arya and nasuada and duel with eragon. Meanwhile Murtagh will kill nasuada, and Eragon will get pissed, get that little dark side thing going on, and kill Galbatorix. That will free Murtagh to the spell. Then, Arya, Saphira, the Green Dragon, and Eragon go away, (either to Alalea or the Human's original land) and Murtagh will stay behind, and greive over the loss of nasuada.

FAR-FETCHED though LOL LOL LOL

Anyway, CP did say the identity of the third rider would be a tad surprising and we think that the third rider willbe eragon's wife. Or someone of royal blood. We haven't actually seen or heard about Nasuada's mother and Nasuada is of royal blood because she is the daughter of ajihad who was the varden's leader. i think Arya is waaay too obvious. Nasuada isn't that obvious.

It's already been said the next rider will be someone we know. Nasuada isn't of royal blood unless she was a princess or something, or an ancestor was royalty. Arya is more royal than Nasuada, however it was never said that Nasuada didn't have royal blood, so it is a possability

It would make her noble yes, but not royalty. Unless one of her ancestors was a king or queen, she isn't royalty. Also unless Ajihad or her mom were a king and queen she would be royal. But they were just the leaders of a resistance against galby, so that doesn't neccessarily make her royalty. she would have to have royal blood, in order the be of royal blood.

It might say something, so until then it's just a possability, it's not really known yet whether she and Eragon will get together. There is more evidence that leans towards Arya, and only theories that support Nasuada, so we'll just have to wait to see if there is any information in book 3.

yes, but like I have said heaps of times, arya is way too obvious.CP has done that on purpose so when the real love of eragon is announced it will be a surprise or a twist as you might put it.
