I think Eragon will kill Galby with a pebble from a few miles away in the last book...like he killed rabbits in the other books...What do yall think?

well galby isnt a rabbit (lol) and that would be kind of lame.

Whats more heroic if Eragon's sword gets knocked outa his hand by galby and he uses a pebble? Think creativly guys.

Galby might not even die. He probably wil but im just wondering. It might b eragon but i doubt it.

i dont think anything magical (apart from a riders sword which is remotly magical) will be able to kill Galby. He is to strong in magic and most probably has wards 'miles' (exagerating a bit but o well) wide and tall, and an enchanted dagger would never get through.... i think that if anything kills Galby it will be a sword, preferably Eragon's (his new sword) it would be the only way that Galby would be killed and without the use of magic from a long distance, + i think that if Eragon did that he'd feel a coward... he would have to fight him in hand-to-hand combat, its the only way because Galby is vastly more experienced with magic and is the best at breaking into peoples minds (e.g. Murtagh's mind was like a fortress and not even Saphira could break through its protection but Galby managed to, its sort of a dangerous trait reali) the only thing that would work is if he killed him with his sword and mayb said 'BRISINGR' as he did so....

yeah cp's too good a writer to merely kill the villain with a pebble. He would want to make the battle scene really exciting. If he kills Galby witth a pebble itll pretty much ruin the whole scene.

True, the final battle with galby has to be made the most exciting part of da book. And dont you think its reallly weird how we havnt ever seen galby or been told what he looks like in either of the books? Obviously cp is building up our tension, and when we finnally see galby, cp will probably do a whole page on explaining what he looks like, not to mention Shruikins description.
But about the pebble thing, wouldnt galby have tonnes of supper power wards around him to prevent anything like pebbles, arrows, spears, magic from harming him?

Dagon Rideress i av alreadi sed that in a very lengthy piece of writing, there is no chance Galby can b killed with magic unless he uses all his energy stores but i doubt he'll do that he's to powerful.... Eragon will have to battle wiv him in hand to hand combat, Ergaon aint strong enough to even defeat Murtagh yet let alone Galby he would stand no chance unless he miraculously found a way to gain power which is possible

Well that leads to some ppls thoughts on the VOS theory. Some thing could happen when he opens it and he could gain power from something... I think the most likely thing to happen is something to do with the first eragon and eragon and saphira...

well, he has 2 or he will never kill galby.

eragon has to gain power of learn how to gain power before he fights Galby.... otherwise there would be no point in fighting him bcos he would win easily

What if some how Murtagh will frind time to meet with eragon again( even if hes still under galby's spell, like in eldest) and teaches eragon some of Galby's spells

NAh i dont think hes on his side for good... Why would Murtagh spend so much time talking to eragon when they were supposed to be fight and then he just leaves. I think something major will happen with murtagh
