I really can't think of anybody who could play a convincing Toph... *chews lip*....Hmmm.... Lol, what if they picked Kristen Stewart? She's been in practically every new movie I've seen since she played on Twilight. (No, I haven't really seen a lot of new movies lately. )

Oh, and Toph isn't really buff, but she's not slim either. I guess you could say she's stocky for a girl her age.

Kristen Stewart would ruin the movie. Toph is a little girl and she is an adult. If they turn Toph into a guy that would ruin it and she isn't stocky, stocky would be more fat than muscle and she definitely isn't fat.

Stocky can be muscle, and lol, I was being sarcastic about Kristen Stewart. (Not that I have anything against her.)

'Smatter of fact, I have a friend who is stocky. And believe me, it's all muscle. *rubs shoulder and grumbles*

By the way, I got the low-down on the whole silly Avatar/Last Airbender thang. James Cameron trademarked the name "avatar" 15 years ago when he had the whole idea of his, so it legally couldn't be used by the cartoon in theaters. (which came way later)
I think Last Airbender is cooler sounding anyway. xD

I think I heard somewhere that the benders were drawn to somehow resemble the movements and power of their elements. Zuko: tall, thin, fire bender, fire bending: fast, sort of erratic. Toph: short, stocky, earth bender, earth bending: deep movements, strength, deliberate. Aang: short, light, air bender, air bending: flows (not as smoothly as water), fast or slow, can use either quick or slow movements. Katara: medium height/weight, water bender, water bending: flows like air, but smoother, gentle or rough.

Am I making any sense?

If that were true, Zuko would have been the stocky one. It has something to do with the movements of their bending, it builds muscle differently and in different places. Watch the benders when they bend, they all move differently, unless they bend the same element. If you watch Aang, he does all of the movements, but his primary body shape is that of an air bender. Basically their body shapes sort of enbody the essence of their element.

???Where have you been? That's what I'm saying. Their body types somewhat depict their element, because of the different movements they make in their bending. Which cause different muscles to build up, or the same muscles to build up in different ways and/or strengths. (Ex: Zuko's leg muscles: thin, lean; Toph's leg muscles: stout, hard) But that doesn't mean that he's weaker in his legs, his leg musles could be as strong as her's, but because they make different movements when they bend (Zuko kicks, Toph stomps) their muscles build up differently.

You said that Zuko was raised in a tough environment, always being pushed. That's why I said that.

Toph also uses a different earth bending style than the others do, as she learned a style of bending that compliments her blindness, so she is actually built a bit differently than alot of the other earth benders

But there were a lot of them, so it would be difficult to put them in. And if they did, they would have people saying, why didn't they put this or that episode in, it was funnier/more romantic. You also have to admit, if they focus mainly on the serious stuff, this is going to be one ba movie.

I may be wrong, but I thought the Avatar that caused legal issues was an older movie (way older) infact I most likely am XD >.> but either way Avatar The Last Airbender was the original Avatar and should have had dibs on the name.

Unfortunately dibs doesn't work when your going against James Cameron and his latest 300 million dollar movie...

PS. James' Avatar is OLD, it was written in something like 1994 but he put it off because he didn't think he could create a world that would match his "vision"

I don't get what they mean by more than 3 movies. That's impossible! Maybe the guy just didn't know anything about the series. The only reason I can think for as to why he said that is because they might be dividing season 3 in half, and they would only do that for the third season because it contains the whole plot resolution and the most action. I don't think they should go anywhere over 3 movies though, because then it would just be annoying and unnecessarily untrue to the show. Movie series aren't that common either, and the actors have to be the same, so how on earth would that work out?!
