i think he would help roran first beacuase thats the first thing he said he would do

but how will he be much help without a weapon?

he just need to fly back to du waldenvarden and within 2 weeks he can start to help roran...

He will get the weapon first because he is in serious need of one. He cant just run after the ra'zac unarmed. Are some people stupid.

Exactly, and a normal sword would probably dent or scratch in his hands, he needs a rider's blade.

1. He gets a normal blade
2. He uses magic
3. Saphira
4. Uses something in enviroment

Eragon needs a Rider's blade before he attempt to do any type of rescue; I say he will go to the Menoa Tree first, then he will help rescue Katrina.

As for the ra'zac being in Du welden varden it's more likly that Galby will eat the 3rd egg

AND at the end of Eldest he does need a weapon; therefore it will bee time to go the Menoa Tree.
About the Ra'zac and Du Weldenvarden; don't be too sure. In book one we hear a lot about the armies of Urgals going south (Surda) and east (Du Weldenvarden forest).

No one has said they were going to Ellesméra. I simply stated the fact that the BOOK says various times, before the Urgals attacked Farthen Dûr, that they were going south and East. Look at the maps provided in the inside flaps so you can see what lies south and right to Gil'ead.

And if you think it is stupid, I hope you know some Math because the Urgals outnumber the elves, the dwarves and the humans involved in the war.

anyway the urgals breed faster than any other race thats why there so many but most urgals are weak and easily dispaced

Anyway, YOU ARE RIGHT in saying that the Urgals are more. When Nar Garzhvog offer to fight with the Varden he gives an explanation as why there are so many of them. Check it out on Pages 605-611 of Eldest. But my friend, they are not weak.
