The books says that Ajihad, Nasuada and that guard where the only people he seen with a black skin color. And the book says, Ajihad just showed up one day with Nasuada, and never told anyone about their past. So isn't it possible that they aren't even from Algaesia, but another continent? This would bring up a lot of questions. Why did Ajihad take Nasuada from their home? Who is the guard? What effects would this have on the story?

they might have come from the east beyond the reach of the Alagaesia map. or perhaps the middle of the Hadarac Desert. no one has really been in there and back with their sanity.

Eragon and Orik flew over the desert on Saphira. They saw all kinds of traders in the middle of it. And Durza lived in the middle of the desert with some guy. Obviously, it's been traveled.

but what i was getting to is that it is unknown what is in it exept to thoes who live there.

But Eragon\Saphira\Orik saw the whole desert. Theey would have seen a civilization.

they didn't fly over the entire desert. just because you fly through it doesn't mean you see everything.

They saw the majority of it. And the majority of what they didn't see? They saw when they walked to Ellesmera.

they walked the edge of it! they didn't go through the middle on the way to Du Weldenvarden. and do you realize how big the Hadarac Desert is?! its as big as Du Weldenvarden AND the Beor Mountains combined. Flying in a straight line though somthing that huge how much can you see?!

That still doesn't discount the traders they saw traversing it.

They were traders yes there were people. but thats my point. there are people living in the Hadarac. but think of how many people have done a detailed map of the desert its self that is available in the rest of Alagaesia. not many people know much about it. so Nasuada and Ajihad could have com from it.

But why would they leave? The only reasons for leaving I can think of is something along these lines, Ajihad does the nast with a princess, princess does the circle of life with Nasuada, King does the o noh hey di-ent jus dew wa i thenk hey jus di thing, king does the banish Ajihad and baby Nasuada thing. Or maybe it was with the queen. That'd make more sense in terms of age.
