There are certain simmilarity's between LOTR and Inhertance, like the elves and dwarves but i like the point of view of Dragons in cp books.

no. Dragons in LOTR are evil. not so much in Inheritence.
and it's spelled AragoRn. his sword is Anduril.

Naegling was Aragorn's ranger sword from the first two movies. Narsil was the sword of kings wielded by Elendil which Isildur used to slay Sauron. It was broken into shards and when it was reforged it was renamed Anduril- flame of the west and had an inner glow to it (that was not shown in the movies)
And Gandalf's sword is Glamdring, wielded in ancient times by the elf king Turin and was forged in the long forgotten city of Gondolin

Hehe, well I only read Eragon and Eldest recently, I've only read them once and I haven't been exposed to the Inheritance Trilogy knowledge, though when it comes to LOTR I found the universe fascinating. For anyone who hasn't done so already, read the LOTR trilogy, then the hobbit, then The Silmarillion, which is a must! Then after that, read the unfinished tales by Christopher Tolkien, it will give you an awesome insight into the seemingly real history of a fantasy world.

lol, I play Lord of the Rings, The battle for middle earth 1+2 FAR too much, and I'm pretty sure the old one was called Elendil or some thing, but the new one is definately Narsil.
