I would say that it has a 50/50 chance at being hatched. However ya never know till it happens right?

it was announced somewhere along the way. the book is called empire and will be green and feature a green dragon

Quite right. As long as Galbatorix has the 3rd egg, it is most likely that it will be evil unless the Varden retrieve it. Galbatorix will make sure he can get as many people to march past it as he can and they will mostly be evil right? The Green Dragon will be forced to serve Galbatorix and make an oath in the Ancient Language

yeah but look at murta he wasn't evil and he still isn't hes just bound to galby becuase he knows his true name and thorn will do what ever his rider does(he doesn't really have a choice just like mur) and thorn has proly been influenced by galby enough and persuaded to think eragon is the enemy. (just like galbys black dragon was persuaded and controlled by magic to accept galb as his rider) cuz ya no shrueken(however you spell it) aint evil eather hes just being controlled.

i think it has not hatched yet , but i cant wait till it does so we can find out what its name is but i also think it will be on Eragons side so that the final fight we be 2 on 2 instead one 1 on 2,.,.,.,.,.but thats my opinon.

i think the green dragon egg will hatch to arya in the third book as her magic is green and they need someone competent in magic and in fighting, if the green dragon hatched for roran he would have to b trained etc, it would b so much easier if the egg hatches for arya + if the egg does, arya and eragon have a chance of falling in love as if Saphira and Greeny mate and have feelings 4 one another there is a chance eragon and arya will fall in love!! (HOPEFULLY)

I think it might've hatched. Because think of how long it will take for the green dragon to be raised into an adult. It would take a loong time... And the new rider has to learn how to fight with a dragon and... yeah.

Hey what's up Annie and I haven't seen ya in awhile.

Plus the egg hasn't even hatched yet. I'm pretty sure galby still has it up in his castle or on this other place I have forgotten. I think it is with the Ra'zac more than likely.

brom1 has a great theory that it already hatched for arya, green magic, mad skill, it makes since!

maybe she stole it in the night, brought it to that mountian (sp? 4got what its called) and it hatched for her there, cause it took a while for saphire to hatch for eragon right?
