I don't think Brom is Eragon's father. I just KNOW it in my heart that he IS. About people dying, yes it is a sad thing, part a totally natural thing in the life cycle. It's the only thing we are SURE will happen eventually and we never prepare for it. The moment something is born, there is the assurance that it will eventually cease to be.

Yeah Eragon needs to hurry and finish his training before it is too late. Oromis said he wasn't going to live much longer so Eragon needs to hurry along with the New Dragon Rider and they both can get trained together.

I think Roran will need enough training to catch up with Eragon then they can go into war with each other and Roran and Eragon will take down the army of Galbatorix.
