Ok what bout this..these arent my theories but what would happen if: Brom is Eragons father Saphira doesnt find a mate(which i hope she does) Galby isnt Evil Vanir become the next rider ok its sound wierd but wat would hapen if these were true?? Its sound wierd but it would really add mystery to the whole thing wouldn't it?? _________________ Oh No of course!You must have worked hands free, like Hey I'm the doctor I can save the universe using a kettle and some string, and look at me im wearing a vegetable- David Tennant

At night I go flying with one very special dragon among the stars. So if you are outside on a clear night and a shadow crosses the moon or stars, look up and you may see us. As a White Dragon rests on the hill top. He watched as men came into the valley just below where he sits and setup camp for the night.

I also heared somewhere that Morzan's dragon was named Thorn. i dunno if htis is true though. THe things is that inheritence is KEY. Eragon will inheirit Brom's sword, he has already inheireted Brom's ring, and he has a blue dragon named Saphira. Her family are her ROOTS. As explained at some point in the book, one could LIE if they believed it was true and had no emotions to confuse. He now was allowing commoners like Odette to have a shot at being the dragon rider. But Odette knew she couldn't be the next rider. And as her turn grew closer, something caught her eye out of line. A giant silver rock hidden behind a tree.
