umm... i don't think that is possible.... I still think it is going to be Roran becasue when Roran and Eragon finally meet in book 2 (Eldest) Eragon goes into Roran's mind and Roran feels it. I remember the book saying, "Only a few people can tell if someon eis invading their mind, and only a handful of them could block you out of it."

But the only problem with that theroy is that it has absoultly nothing to do with a dragon haching for him. One of the problems with this theroy is that we all know that Galby has the last egg, so how is Roran going to get to it? Unless the egg is at Heldigrind which I doubt for reasons. One such reason is that Katrina seems to be there so it seems that it would be a trap for Eragon to go there so Galby or Murtagh can take control of him, but who knows? Katrina might be at Uru'bane for all we know is that she was in chains and shackles in a white backround.
