I dont think eragon will die.

When Angela states that he will leave the land of Alagaesia forever, it could just mean that he goes to Doru Araeba, and start the next generation of rider's there. And technically Doru Araeba isn't part of Alagaesia. This will also prove Angela's prediction of him having a long life true.
