Does any one else share the same opinion? I don't believe that Morzan is Eragon's father. Even though Murtagh states it in Eldest. Going back to the first book, when Eragon talks to the leader of the Varden with Murtagh. Once Ajihad hears Murtagh's voice, he recognizes Morzan's voice. If Eragon and Murtagh were brothers, why wouldn't Ajihad recognize Eragon's voice too? I believe that Galbatorix is Eragon's father, since the Varden never saw Galbatorix. This would make sense, because Eragon's mother had an affair with Galbatorix. This would make Eragon and Murtagh half brothers, because they have the same mother.

he said they found his mothers name in his mind. Eragon didn't even have the tiniest idea who his father was so it wouldn't have been able to be seen in his mind.

me i think it is brom. because brom knew eragons mother and he "knew her well enough to miss her when she was gone. and angela said brom loved a women but the women died because nof it.

I think Eragon's father is Brom. Brom could have been in Carvahall to be closer to his son, and Eragon could have inhereted being a dragon rider from Brom, not Morzan

Yea, I doubt mozan is Eragon's father for some reasons. One, It would mean that Eragon would somewhat represent (meaning look like) morzan. Since no one ever really told him, "caterpillar! u look like MOrzan!" i seriously doubt that morzan is the dad

guys.. every1 knows that brom is eragons real dad and morzan isnt.. selena had an affair w/ brom when morzan was out searching for saphira's egg.. people makin theses topics when who his dad is is right THEIR!!

It may be someone else because morzan said that selena was gone for 6 months. Too short to have a baby

Hmm, i don't think that that could happen, because mozan made sure she was patrolled almost at all times and so no one could possible have done it with her before. I am pretty sure that morzan isn't his dad, but I don't think that Brom is either.

she did do errands for him, so she may have met Brom on one of those.

i don think eragon's father is morzan. because after twins inspection(in varden) murtagh said he had no secret. but he never told eragon he's mom's name. isn't that a secret?

i agree that brom is eragons dad. i think selena met brom and fgound out she was pregnant after biblically "knowing him" and "knew Morzan" trying to cover it up and fled .. Brom is eragons Father.

even though martaugh said that morzan is eragons father in the ancient language, it doesn't make it true. it just shows that martaugh believed it was true, brom is eragon's father.

it was not a question of lieing, but something Martaugh believed was true. Though selena might both be their mother, morzan is not their father
