no, she couldn't kill sum1, the spell keeps her from hurting any1, even baddies.

yeah if she tried to kill galby
1: it would cause her imense pain because she knew she was about to inflict pain
2: when she killed galby she would suffer for causing some one pain

and she could only do this if she found a way around the spell

i know, and if the spell was gone, well, then, she would probally lose her ability to be so intellienget at such a young age.

i dought it that would be like saying that some one used and spell to teach you 2+2. Then after a while of that being stuck in your head the spellcaster removed the spell. Youd still know wat 2+2 is

I don't quite understand will eragon moved the spell or fix the spell..?? Nevertheless, eragon was intended to bless Elva-- and after he accidentally 'ruin' her life-- I think he tends to "fix" it and not just removed it..
Elva will be "shielded" from misfortune,, just like Eragon meant when he blessed her.. therefore, Elva won't be shrink.. and the best thing is-- she'll be protected from misfortune-- therefore, will be protected too from durza's spirit !

I completely agree with Fathskie on this one. Since Eragon did not inted to harm Elva, he will "fix the wrong", so if this happens, she will be guarded against harm as it was originally intended.

Sure, the spirits can't die, because they're already dead. In fact, they weren't really alive. Still, what's stopping them from going back to the place Durza summoned from? I don't think those spirits are going to be bothing anyone anytime soon.

For the spirits to take over her body, Elva would have to call upon them for use in evil magic. I highly doubt that Elva would do that, as her curse/blessing prevents her from harming people.

I think, because of her mark, she will be able to use magic, but she will never be able to use it because she can't do harm, and if she knew how to heal people, she would quickly expend all of her energy and die.

The reason we are talking about magic, is that you have to summon spirits that are more powerful than you with magic to become a shade.

we have already discussed this and now it is time to discuss something new within the topic.

So who thinks because of her curse she would be able to use magic

She would have to be a sorceror to become a Shade. She would also have to summon spirits more powerful than her.
