I must have missed something because I'm at a loss to how EVERYONE AND THEIR DOG knows that the next dragon is green. WHERE DOES IT SAY THAT?????? Did I miss something?

CP reveled in an interview that the next cover features a green dragon

so most ppl put 2+2 together and guessed the next egg is green

When Eldest was released, CP still planned on a trilogy and said that the third cover would have a Green Dragon. It was also supposed to follow a similar Name pattern(Six Letters, starting with E...Eragon, Eldest, Empire(my guess)." It wasn't til the third book became Brisngr became the title and Glader was chosen to be on the cover. But that doesnt change the fact that CP said what he said, and the story supposeddly hasn't changed... so there is nothing to disprove the idea that the third egg is Green.

It should be a green dragon because the main colours have allready been used. Saphira is bue (you can count all the bluish colours, like purple etc.), Thorn is red, Glaedr is gold (it could be used as yellow) and Shruikan is black. It has to be green.

there are plenty of other colors besides green! like silver, brown, orange, hot pink,and metallic purple. i know I'm stretching it a bit. but honestly!! you think that when the riders ruled, that there wasn't more than one dragon per color????? and why does saphira being blue, and thorn being red, and glader being gold automatically cancel out all tints and shades of those colors? and CP has been known to change his mind quiet frequently. just because he said that the next dragon would be green, doesn't mean its true. he also said that it was the inheritance trilogy, and that book three would be out in the summer of 2007.

I think it will be green because if you think about it, thorn doesn't want to serve Galby. If you combine red blue and green, you get white. Isn't wite supposed to the good color, and is always going against evil (black)

i just think the next dragon is green. i dont really have any proof. it my gut feeling. but i think it has something to do with the main colors.

you know, i don't recall CP talking about Arya using visible magic at all, let alone that it was green.

I think it actually said something in one of the books about a green egg..

in eragon, in the final battle, arya uses "emerald" magic to kill an urgal. and also, now that i think about it, i think they said something about a green egg too in one of the books.

well okay, i guess it does mention her magic being green. and who knows it might talk about the last egg being green somewhere, if i get time this weekend i'll reread the books and i can let you know Monday
