yea that would be pretty cool. but wouldnt galby have to had died for shruikan to get out of that spell thing?

He might just decide to because dragons are stronger than all the other magic users and he might hav a sudden burst of power and break the spell which kills galby. It would be pretty kl if that happened to lol

Not what but who. Shruiken is Galbatorix's black dragon. Although Galbatorix HAD a dragon before, his cockiness (bold and stupid at the same time) made him go on a mission to kill urgals but they killed his former dragon instead. He went back to the Rider Elders and demanded another one but they denied him this. So he stole Shruiken when it was a hatchling and using magic, made it serve his madness.

I agree but there is one more thing I would like to see. Although Riders are bonded by part magic and part something else but whatever, and the movie depicts that if the rider dies then the dragon dies as-well. But if the dragon dies the rider does not. BUT, if in the 3rd movie (if and when it comes out) if Galby (Galbatorix) is killed and Shruiken is bonded to Galby ONLY with magic, I wonder if the same rule will apply. That will be a challange for the producers.

Agreed! I believe that it wouldn't apply for one thing he never accepted him as his rider per say, but was twisted with black magic as most know. But then again it could because he (Shruikan) might have some level of sanity still and somewhere a connection was made. But we really don't know do we?

I just want poor Shruikan to live on How unfair would it be if as a baby dragon, some freak
just walks in and steals you and then and then sits on his **** all 100 years and then your
killed because your stuck with this freak and you get no say at all in your life. Thats so mean.

I totally agree with the above. It's not his fault.
Anyways, I'm sure Galby has dark spells over Shruikan which won't allow Shruikan to kill him.

i dnt think he would b able 2, i mean from wot it says in the book shruiken is locked up nd held with magic bonds so strong he can never break out (or somethin like tht) i think he would tho if he got half a chance, who wouldnt kill the person tht ruined there life?
