So far the dragons have chosen desendants of past dragon riders. Nasuada's past is a mystery to even her, so I think it would be a good key to unlocking her past.

now i bought the version of the book that came with the 3 book cap. ex. and both eragon and roran are going to save hurricane katrena, now here is where my prodiction comes in that roran is the next rider, it is because of the fact that im thinking when they go after the raz'zak they will be captured. and gaby will torture them both in pain that "normal humans of this time" could not stand then some how they will escape and take the last egg with them and then roran will be the next rider therefore throwing himself and the other people of the town in this even more then they already are!

There is not any Air, earth, fire, or water magic in these books. And many people use magic but that doesn't mean its gona point to that person becoming a rider.

Its impossible for a dwarf to be a rider. They wern't in the spell that bound elves to dragons, humans were added later but dwarves were never encluded

If all of them are going to be a male human, it will be roran. Then if it is going to be more even, a female elf or dwarf i think it will be arya.

I agree with you on that theory. I think that it will be Roran but a dwarve cannot be because they were excluded from the contract.

Arya will be the next Rider. The egg will be found in the vault of souls, which is in Helgrind. Remember when Solembum told Eragon to speak his name into the vault of souls? Eragon will do that, get the egg, and bring it to the Varden. It will hatch for Arya. Saphira and Arya's green male dragon will mate. This will change Arya's feelings for Eragon and they will fall in love. After all, Angela said he would fall in love with someone wise, powerful, and of noble birth and heritage. Arya perfectly fits the description.

nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, arya will not be the next rider. she is too obvious. the next rider will either b roran or orik; roran because he's family; orik because CP likes those little twists. plus, it would help relieve tensions between Saphira and the dwarven people. and maybe get rid of the blood feud that's plaguing Eragon right now.

but you have to think,CP loves giving his readers surprises. and that is what the last generation of dragons did.but saphiraand thorn and the green dragon are all the next generation of dragons so they could defy there elders and choose a dwarf as there rider
