Ella winced at the tone in his voice,"I'm sorry." she whispered contritely, mentally berating herself for bringing up Elyrana.

OOC: I was thinking that we would end TTALF with Daidrea was able to escape and both of your characters shortly after. After Daidrea regains his memory, he mostly forgets of being imprisoned. However he faintly remembers escaping. And we could have your toons join in later. Then we have this whole confrontation. Lol

Okay, I get the ending TTALF and all the jazz of the three of them escaping, but what do you mean by confrontation? As in the whole thread of SE? Or am I being really obtuse right now? (Sorry, its late over here and my brain is moving at a slugs pace.lol)

OOC:Ya you bring them in. Daidrea isnt gonna recognize them...at least not at first because of his memory. And Kuja(Xaldin) is gonna have a fun time dealing with two people who despises him and he will have to try to figure how to deal with it.

Nice. I like it. Something apart from the neverending love stories. >.< Not that they don't have there place, but there comes a time when one just needs a break....Okay, sweet, we have a plan. How quickly do you want to execute it?

OOC:Well first after Daidrea and Mya get out of solitary confinement, her and Mona will have their confrontation and then maybe some sort of riot happens and Daidrea slips away. Those two manage to escape a little while later but never find him...at least until here where we bring them back in many many many years later.

Serenity heard her mate return to home and poked her head out of the kitchen to watch him. She pursed her lips, then sidled out until she stood just behind him. She placed her hands on his shoulders and massaged gently, smoothing his tense muscles with her expert fingers. She didn't say anything, merely kneaded his shoulders in silence to help him relax.

Mýa padded through the hot desert sand, tongue lolling out of her mouth from between her sharp bottom fangs. It had been many years since Vermona, a vampire, had helped her escape the horrid prison in Uru'baen. They had separated ways shortly after (werewolves and vampires never got along very well), and she had been searching for a friend of her for a time now. In the prison, his name had been Elf. She lifted her nose into the wind. She was astonished to smell something...something achingly familiar. It was him! She'd know that scent among a hundred others. She bolted forward at a fast lope, rising and falling with the dunes, until she saw him. He was sitting cross-legged at the crest of a sand dune, looking out at the horizon. She couldn't believe her luck. He was different, though. The years had changed him. She slowed her pace to a contented trot. She stopped two yards to his left and sat on her haunches. You know how to hide, old friend. she said, grinning wolfishly, her silver-amber eyes crinkling at the corners.

Mýa tilted her head in confusion. Unless someone tampered with my memory, you are the one I remember. she said, then stood on her hindlegs, catching the moment just right as she shimmered down to her human form. Tunic and trousers fluttered into place moments after her transformation was complete,"And I'm a werewolf." she corrected, crossing her arms over her chest. She pursed her lips,"So you aren't an ex-Dragon Rider, I presume?" she asked curiously.

Vermona ran at full speed across the sand, hardly seeing it. She had to squint her eyes against the bright glare, holding her cloak close to her body so none of the suns rays touched her body. She raised her head and sniffed, then recoiled. It had been a while since she scented that particular stench, but she knew it nonetheless. She blew faster, curious. At the edge of her sight she saw a wolf. Her eyes widened as it shifted to a human. They nearly popped out of their sockets as her vision registered the sitting figure in front of the werewolf. She pumped he legs even harder.

Mýa ignored his question, though she hesitated at his name. He must have forgotten his imprisonment, somehow swapping those memories for those he'd lost previously when he was captured. She sighed,"And do you sometimes get into an emotional state where your eyes turn black as night?" she asked. Her ear twitched at the sound of footsteps ad she turned her head slightly. Her nostrils flared as a familiar figure slid to a stop on the sand at the bottom of the sand dune. It was a vampire. More importantly, it was Vermona. She bared her teeth in a smile, though it was anything but friendly,"You don't belong here, parasite." she hissed, her silver-amber eyes glittering.

Vermona bared her two inch long fangs in a snarl,"Lose the attitude, mongrel. I got you out of that prison, remember? Or is your memory as short as your temper?" she retorted with a hiss, her voice somewhat distorted due to her canines. She lowered her upper lip and forced her fangs to their normal size and sharpness.

Gah, I forgot Ella last time...

IC:
Vermona glanced at the werewolf, silently telling her to not say a word. The mongrel had enough sense to obey. She turned to Serenity,"I'm Vermona and this is my cousin Mýa. We were traveling the desert and noticed your village. We wondered if we could perhaps stay a few days and recover..." she said, trailing off at the end. But Serenity was smiling,"Why of course. You can stay here; this is the only house with a guest room. Please, follow me." she said, and turned. Vermona was happy to follow the human, but a scent caught her attention. She looked to the side and did a double take, freezing. Mýa bumped into her, started to complain, then she, too, froze. Mona was the first to collect her wits,"Kuja? What the hell are you doing here? I'd thought you'd still be down in Uru'baen overseeing the prison." she said, bewilderment making her voice hoarse.

Ella lowered her knitting with her brow furrowed,"Strange indeed. I thought vampires couldn't travel in sunlight. And that vampires and werewolves hated each other." she said, a bit confused.

Vermona shook her head and continued on, though Mýa wasn't so civil.

Mýa remained stunned for a few moments. Kuja was here? When did that happen? She shook her head, lips drawing back from her teeth,"I haven't forgotten what you did to Daidrea. He was only trying to help me; you didn't have to let Marcus whip him fifty times." she growled. Vermona grabbed her arm and tugged, but she refused to move.

Ella sighed and shrugged,"It is possible to lose your memory. Kuja did; you had to remove some sort of seal from his mind or something like that."

Mýa's eyes narrowed as Kuja remained motionless. Her lips drew back from her teeth, but Vermona tugged on her arm again. She relented, letting the female vampire drag her from the room after Serenity. The twoleg led them to a spacious room with two cots,"Here is your room. Dinner is in four hours." she said, then retreated to the main room. The werewolf sat on her cot,"Well, this is wonderful. Two people that we know have absolutely no memory of us. Lovely." she grumbled.

Nanime smiled up and at her father, then glanced after the two women,"Daddy, who were those two? They looked mean." she said worriedly, her brow furrowed. Her mother came back then with a perplexed expression on her face.

Serenity glanced at her mate from the corner of her eye before she went behind him again and went back to massaging his shoulders. She extended a tendril of thought to Kuja, curious despite herself. Can you access Kuja's memories, or are those closed off to you when he's dormant? she asked him.

Ella blew some errant strands of hair out of her face,"I believe you, but isn't the whole point of a mind seal to block something, but also stay hidden from the bearer? Kuja didn't know he had a seal in his mind; maybe you don't either. Perhaps you should ask him or Serenity to check, just in case." she said worriedly

Nanime perked right up,"Okay." she said delightedly, instantly getting to her feet and darting out the door.

Serenity grimaced, the beginnings of a headache throbbing in the back of her skull. Kuja was always a pain in the ass. she said, and sighed. She leaned around to look him in the eye. We'll figure it out soon enough. I know you'd prefer not to, but maybe you should tell them who you really are. The werewolf looked about ready to tear your head off. she said, and grimaced again. Then she puckered her lips gently and kissed him. Her panther paced, but she kept the enraged cat carefully in check.

Ella pursed her lips,"Alright, its the most possible situation. Would it even be possible to get your memories back from that time? Or would that just erase your other memories again?"

OOC:Going to bed. Really tired.... lol

And just when it was getting interesting....lol Sleep well.

Serenity sighed to herself as he kissed her back. She smiled as he stretched, her eyes twinkling,"Your quite welcome." she said warmly. She was just moving to hug her mate when a sharp cry made her head snap around. She snarled and leaped, letting the form of the panther take over in mid-jump. She darted out of the house on all four paws, emerald eyes burning. Hain was crouched over her daughter, pressing a long shallow gash in her calf closed. A piece of broken glass peered out from the sand. She slid to a stop beside Nanime, growling protectively. She carefully placed her right forepaw on the wound, narrowing her eyes. The injury flashed with gentle light then sealed without a single trace of scarring. Her daughter got to her feet with Hain's help. Thank you, Hain. she murmured to the young man. She nudged Nanime to the house. Inside. Now. she said soothingly. The young Shade was a bit shaken.

Ella's eyes softened with affection,"Daidrea...." she murmured, taken aback. She set aside and got to her feet, padding around the table until she stood behind him. She wrapped her arms around his neck in gratitude. Her sapphire eyes were gleaming with a film of unshed tears.

Serenity let Nanime lean on her as they walked slowly back to the house.

Vermona turned slowly toward Kuja, her dark grey eyes gleaming. Her lips pursed as she sniffed softly in his direction. Her pupils narrowed. Either she was finally loosing it, or...his scent was different. Nothing obvious, just a very subtle hitch that a less sensitive nose wouldn't catch. But it was there. And it made her wonder,"I have nothing to say, sir, other than I'm sorry you lost your companion. Selris gave me some good advice." she said. She inhaled again, and her eyes narrowed even further. She must be really going crazy. Because Kuja's scent couldn't be similar to Daidrea's. Mýa was about to speak up but Mona threw her a cautious glance. The female vampire took a step forward, confusion settling over her features,"Forgive me for prying but...why does your scent smell so similar to Daidrea's?" she asked.

Ella returned Daidrea's kiss lightly. She never pushed him farther than he went, even after so long.

Vermona pursed her lips, her nostrils flaring a bit,"I believe you...to a point. I remember Kuja's scent even after so many years. His was bitter and vile, covering my tongue like horehound candy. It reminded me of the scent of a werewolf. Each person has a scent unique to them. Even Mýa and her wolf have a minute difference, though they are the same being. Your scent is not Kuja's." she said, her eyes gleaming curiously.

Vermona's eyes narrowed to barely visible cat-like slits, but she nodded. It wasn't her place to push for information. She backed down, taking a step away from Kuja. Abruptly she smelled cat.

Serenity nudged her daughter into her room. Rest, darling. I'll wake you for dinner. she said. She watched as the young Shade reluctantly went to her bed and climbed in. Once she was sure the child wasn't going anywhere, she turned and padded to her mates side. She pressed her head to his thigh, glancing at the two females. Her nostrils flared and her black fur bristled at Kuja's uneasiness. Any problems? she asked her mate silently.

Mýa snorted softly,"Soft bloodsucker." she muttered under her breath. Vermona hissed, angling her head to glare at her. The vampire curled her upper lip back, revealing one two inch long fang. The werewolf shivered and remained silent. Mona nodded to herself and lowered her lip, then moved to lay down on her cot. The she-wolf met Kuja's eyes firmly, her silver-amber irises glittering,"Your not who you say you are is what she's trying to spit out." she said in an exasperated tone of voice, pupils narrowed.

Serenity growled in her throat and took a few steps forward, angling her body in front of her mate perpendicular to the werewolf. Her emerald green eyes gleamed. Kuja is in the body he belongs in. she hissed, and it wasn't even a lie. Kuja was in the body he belonged in.

Vermona scowled after Kuja,"I'll take whatever you dish out gladly if I so mush as get within twenty feet of her." she called out so he would hear. And she would. She despised the thirst that plagued her. Drinking animal blood was a good substitute, and it kept her strong enough to resist the temptation of human blood, but it wasn't as good as the real thing.

Serenity followed slowly after Kuja, looking back warily to the vampire. As she passed by Nanime's room she erected a soft blue ward at the doorway to keep any unwanted people out, then continued on into their shared bedroom. She paused at the end of the bed, her emerald green eyes watching her mate. She hadn't changed back to her Shade form yet. She sprang lightly onto the bed, curling into Kuja's side with her head on his stomach. She didn't need words to tell him that she was worried; the constant twitching of her tail and the way her ears pricked at the smallest noise was message enough.

Serenity relaxed, letting her eyes fall half-way closed. A deep, comforting purr rolled up from her chest. She kneaded his side gently with sheathed paws. She shifted, letting the change from panther to Shade roll over her body. Soon she laid against Kuja in her human form. Tunic and trousers shimmered into place moments after the change was finished. She sighed contentedly, curling into her mates side,"I suppose your right." she murmured, closing her eyes fully.

Mýa had wandered around the village, searching for Daidrea. She found him in an averagely small house, to big for one but too small for three. She knocked hesitantly at the door, and was actually surprised that he answered it. She suddenly became shy, an unusual behavior for her. She bit her lip,"I'm sorry about earlier...I realize now you must have lost your memories from imprisonment. May I...may I come in? If its okay with you and your ma-friend?" she asked. She had been planning on saying mate, but the woman standing in the bedroom doorway had blushed crimson. Mýa took that as them being close friends.

OOC: On that note.... LOL, but anyways. Uh did we decide if Daidrea and Ella were technically mates or.... what.

Daidrea tilted his head slightly as she fumbled a word, but he nodded. "Sure... feel free to come in." Taking a step back he let her slip past him and she took a seat. Daidrea moved back into his seat. "I havent denied the possibility completely, its just hard to imagine that it actually happened."

OOC:
I just kind of figured they were with what..uh..happened thirteen years ago. *cough* I guess they could be...I don't mind if you don't.

IC:
Mýa bowed her head and slipped past Daidrea, taking a tentative seat in one of the chairs. She looked at him as he spoke up. She sighed,"It did happen. Both me and Vermona remember it clear as if it happened yesterday. Little side note; stay away from Mona right now. She's not exactly...er, feeling well...If you know what I mean." she warned. She hated bloodsuckers, but knew that Vermona would hate herself if she ever hurt Daidrea,"Once Mona is better...maybe sh and I can share our memories of imprisonment with you. We, of course, can't show you the ten years we weren't there for...But I don't honestly think you want to remember those."

Ella stayed in the bedroom door way, leaning against the frame. She's never say it out loud, but right now she was terrified. Not of the fact that she had a werewolf, a being that was supposed to live in only myths, but of the fact that she might lose Daidrea. Again. And this time, she wasn't sure if she would - or could - survive.

OOC:I forgot about that, it was the only time probably during the jump because right now they are still distant and akward around eachother. So I guess they have the potential to be but... idk it just seems the havent really committed to it. So we might have to change that here soon.

Also btw, what does she mean she thinks she might lose him? Cause of the potential he will lose his memory or are you planning on making a move with one/both of them that I dont know about lol

Daidrea sighed. "I guess I would understand that it happened...its just, is it necessary for me to see those memories? Obviously you two are an odd pair but I dont think you are a threat."

I can go for that. lol

Yeah, I was talking about Daidrea losing his memory, therefore forgetting Ella, and she would have lost him.

IC:
Mýa bit her lip,"No it's not necessary. I don't mind, but....what you did for Mona while she was there has changed her. In a good way. That's all she would tell me though." she said, then grimaced at his comment of them not being a threat,"I'm certainly no threat, unless you count the full moon, but Mona....well, she has a harder time of it. She's thirsty right now, too, to top it off." she grumbled. She didn't like vampires, but that didn't mean she couldn't feel sympathy for Mona.

Mýa nodded,"Very well. I'll tell Mona later. Maybe more than one day, so she can run out of the desert, hunt, then return." she said, and got up. She dipped her head respectfully to both, then walked to the door and slipped out.

Serenity laid contentedly beside her mate, eyes closed. She looked up at him after a while, her completely hazel eyes twinkling mischievously. She got up on one elbow and rolled so she rested on top of him,"How was the Varden faring?" she asked quietly, lightly tracing his jaw wit the tip of her index finger.

Ella swallowed uncomfortably and glanced away, even though he wasn't looking at her,"No. Why do you ask?" she said, trying to lighten up her voice so she didn't sound so bleak. She failed quite miserably.

Serenity pursed her lips a bit,"No real reason, just curious." she murmured, moving her finger up to trace his nose and beneath one eye. Her waist length chocolate hair abruptly fell to one side, cascading over her shoulder and spilling across the bed. She sent it a single annoyed glance before returning her gaze to Kuja's eyes.

Ella tried not to stiffen at his embrace and succeeded, keeping her body tranquil and relaxed. She let her head fall back onto his shoulder,"Nothing is troubling me." she hedged, also speaking in their birth tongue. She kept the thought that nothing was troubling her physically firmly fixed in her mind, lest the Ancient Language stop her words dead in her mouth.

Serenity smiled devilishly and kissed the palm of his hand, her hazel eyes gleaming,"I have a thirsty vampire in my house and my daughter was just recently bleeding. Why on earth would I be tense?" she said, and laughed softly. Then her eyes turned sympathetic,"Isn't there that can be done to help her?" she asked sadly.

Ella closed her eyes,"Daidrea, I haven't been happy since Daveon was taken from me. You gave me my life back and taught me how to love again. How can I keep you from doing something because you want to when you've already given me everything humanly possible?" she whispered, trying to keep herself from crying.

Serenity pursed her lips idly as her mate thought over her words. She continued to trace the features of his face, still in wonder that he was here, safe and alive. She shivered at the very real possibility of it being otherwise. She pressed her forehead to his, swallowing softly,"Everyday I was sick with worry that the Varden hadn't listened to you, that they had killed you on sight. I had nightmares about waking up in bed with you beside me, dead and surrounded by your own blood." she whispered, her voice cracking on the word 'dead'.

Ella felt tears pricking at the corner of her eyes. Dismay surged through her,"But you have given me everything. For months after Daveon's death I wanted to die. I tried to. Zeke stopped me every time." she closed her eyes, her lower lip trembling,"Daidrea, I'm scared to let myself care for you. You've already given me the will to live again, can I ask for much more? If you were to leave, be it death, another woman, or you simply go back home, it would completely destroy me. Can you understand that?" she whispered,"It's safer for me if I don't let myself love you, no matter how much I want to..." she stopped abruptly and bit her lip, afraid she had said to much.

Serenity grunted softly at his words before he kissed her. She felt his arms wind around her, and her panther was abruptly and quickly at the forefront of her mind, roaring and raking at her. She growled gently and ran her fingers through his silver-white hair.

Ella closed her eyes when he released her. She bit her lip, her heart contracting with every beat, as if it would fail at any moment. Abruptly she spun on her heel and darted after Daidrea, slipping in front of him just before he entered the kitchen. She hesitated for the smallest of moments. Then she stepped forward, went up on her toes, wrapped her arms around his neck, and kissed him openly on the lips. She pulled away after three full seconds, her sapphire eyes twinkling. She smiled, a slight lift in the corner of her mouth,"Hurting myself is one thing, but hurting you is quite another. It is a feat that I could never do." she murmured, then took his face within her hands and gazed at him intently,"I love you, Daidrea." she said, and at the words she felt her heart soar.

Serenity pulled away to smile devilishly, her hazel eyes alight with excitement,"You've been away for four years." she said roughly, then leaned down to kiss him again gently.

Daidrea felt warmth inside at her kiss and at her words. Then he stepped forward and embraced her once more.

"Yes thats true. And I did miss you." Kuja stated.

OOC: I cant really think of much or what to do next. Idk if its because im tired, awckward, or just dont know what to write. *sigh*

Ella smiled happily, her sapphire eyes sparkling with joy, and returned his embrace, burying her face into his chest. She pulled away just enough to look up at him,"I still think you should let Vermona and Mýa show you their memories. Even if you do lose yours, one thing won't change. Three, actually. One; your feelings for me. Two; my feelings for you. And three; You'll still have me with you, no matter what." she murmured.

Serenity growled again, sighed, and pulled away to look at her mate. Her heart was pounding in her chest; she feared it would beat right through her ribs,"I'm glad you missed me. That would have made you more determined to stay alive so you could come back to me and Ime." she murmured, brushing his silver hair off his forehead.

Ella smiled, a genuine smile that reached to the corners of her sapphire eyes. She laid her head on his shoulder, releasing her breath in relief. It felt unimaginably good to put aside with all of the confusion and indecision. The feel of his hand against her head let her relax against him, swaying gently with his movement as he rocked slowly back and forth. She didn't really want to ruin the moment by physical motion, so she touched Daidrea's mind with her own. All other issues aside...Are you and I mates now? she said, and felt a bright red blush crawling up her neck into her cheeks.

Serenity smiled, leaning down to receive his kiss. She gently took hold of his shoulders and rolled over, so now he was the one on top.

Ella flushed bright red, her vivid sapphire eyes shining like jewels. She smiled, a tiny quirk of her mouth. ...Yes. I want you to be my mate. And I want to be yours. she said quietly, her blush deepening to a light crimson.

Serenity's panther rose as her mate kissed her neck, causing her fingers to curve into claws. She tried to push the cat back, so she wouldn't hurt Kuja, but it had been too long.

Ella's eyes sparkled with joy and contentment as he spoke the words. Her heart sang, feeling vibrant and alive. She tilted her head back to receive his kiss, feeling his arms go around her. She wound her own arms around his waist, letting her head rest under his chin. She looked up at him mischievously, grinning. I'll never get used to how tall you are. she said, and laughed, a light, bell-like sound that rang merrily in the air.

Serenity grit her teeth, trying to keep the cat under control so she didn't explode out of her skin and possibly hurt Kuja,"I honestly don't know if I have a choice. She's killing me right now to try and get to you." she panted between her clenched teeth, her eyes flickering wildly between hazel and emerald.

Ella grinned,"There should be some fixings for meat and vegetable stew scattered around in there, if your interested." she called after him, turning back to the main area and sitting in a rocking chair. She picked up her knitting and began where she left off, humming contentedly.

Serenity bit her lip and nodded, uneasy. She'd never before lost control of her panther, not like this at least, and right now she felt more dangerously close to the edge than she ever had. She rolled again so she was on top, kissing at his neck with as much gentleness as she could muster. She drew her hands up to his chest, slowly unfastening his tunic so she could slide it off. A soft animalistic growl vibrated her throat as she felt his lean muscles beneath her touch.

Serenity's rumbling purr deepened to a rough growl as her mate removed her own tunic. Her fingers curved into long, gentle claws that softly contracted on his shoulders, not even breaking the skin. Her panther was snarling and pacing now, trying to control her actions. She pushed the cat back, fighting to stay in human form. She managed to push the change away by leaning down and kissing Kuja ardently.

Serenity growled softly as Kuja rolled on top and kissed her while pressing his body down onto hers. Her panther responded to the show of more dominance by becoming more alluring, gently pushing her more acute senses over Serenity.

Writers block with Ella.

OOC:Ok well, this is probably where we can draw the line on how graphic things can get. So Ill just move this along. Plus an idea popped into my head. Just follow along.

Kuja had dozed off to sleep after he and Serenity showed love for eachother in the greatest way possible. After several hours he awoke. He found Serenity at his side clinging to him. Only a blanket covered the both of them. Kuja smiled to himself, he felt so relaxed. While he layed there in bed, he began to dwell in his thoughts. Many things crossed his mind as he reflected.
One of them is that he had shared many things with Serenity. However not absolutely everything... there were some things that she did not know about him. Some things he just never mentioned, some he didnt want to mention. As a precaution... he had certain things locked away. He still knew of the memories...just the actual details were hidden. However he would need to unlock them. Not from the outside, but from the inside.

However, he wanted Serenity to join him. So he decided to wait.

lol I do indeed tend to agree. Hmm...Alright.

IC:
Serenity snuggled closer, smiling idly as memory came back to her. She sighed contentedly, then opened her eyes. Kuja was awake. That surprised her. Usually she was the first to wake. She pushed that to the back of her mind as she saw the thoughtful expression on his face. She got up on her elbow, leaning on her arm with her head resting in her hand so she could look at him,"You have that look. What are you thinking about?" she said quietly. It was still dark out, probably a few hours until dawn, and she didn't want to wake Nanime.

OOC: Hey, wanna apologize for not being on much. Been working and other things.

Kuja nodded his head. "Just a moment then." Kuja got out of the bed and fetched his clothes. Once he finished dressing he went back onto the bed and sat cross-legged. Glancing back down at Serenity he stated, "This might go better without distraction if you werent disrobed." He couldnt help but grin slightly.

Serenity pursed her lips, watching him as he got up and went about getting dressed. She chuckled when he settled back down on the bed with his legs crossed and pointed out that it would go better, distraction wise, if she weren't disrobed. She sighed,"A valid point if there ever was one." she said, her tone a bit teasing. She wrapped the top sheet tightly around herself and stood, letting it flutter around her ankles. She snapped her fingers lightly, and looked down as the sheet rippled into a grey woman cut tunic and black loose leg trousers. She sat on the bed in front of Kuja, tilting her head curiously,"Alright, now that distractions are pushed to the side...What do I do?" she asked, her hazel eyes lit with eagerness.

Serenity looked at her mate, glancing behind her to follow his gaze. She turned back to him, worry and concern etched into her face. She lifted her hands to his face, cupping his chin, and gently tilted his head up, urging him to look at her,"Xaldin, your scaring me now. Please...tell me." she pleaded quietly. If he looked up now, he would see her hazel eyes hooded with anguish at seeing him in pain.
