i should definetly get into it eventually. Been reading rps for maybe 5 years and never got myself implicated in one. Will just have to come up with a bio that interest me.

I would need to reread the rules and guidelines . It been too long since the work on the initial rules were done and they probably changed since then (6 years +) . Except for the occasional pm or post report from the rp section they have been quite independant.

To say the truth I was probably think of a metamorphosed elf, but I would still need to think of it. Then I would have to write the character's bio which would be disected by the best team in the world . The first and only time that I approved a bio was when Glenwing who was rpg admin had to get is approved. Due to the small size of the team then it was decided that I would approve is bio since it would have been wrong for him to do it himself .

A werecat could also work, but I don't consider myself feline

finally created myself a twitter account. not too sure how I will use it yet, but it's been created. kind of scary how much they seem to know about my tastes. They must have been tracking the websites I have been going to and creating an anonymous profile. Once I created the account they would have just needed to link the two of them together.

In general it is good that I don't have the same general interest then the other peoples in my region. I am getting so many hockey suggestions on twitter

Samething as on facebook. Since most of the people I have on it are old friends from when I lived in the middle east it is showing me so many arabic ads. Ads which I don't even understand so there targetting is failing big time

So he's going to be okay, still not looking great, but he may possibly exceed my earlier expectations and live to see another day, because I forgot that he is indeed a tough old bird and of course having his throat clogged by a set of teeth for around eight hours isn't going to do any lasting damage.

Crisis averted. For now. I'm happy and all that, but too much of a zombie to actually sleep. Now...to avoid having a Ray Ramano Style meltdown until reasonable sanity returns...

Saph, it's because he was at home, and he'd been sick for a few days and refusing to eat, so when he told mum he wanted to eat, and asked for his teeth to be in, she put them in for him. Thing is, his poligrip was really stuck, so we couldn't get the teeth back out, which meant that when he started coughing later they went into his throat.

Reason it took around eight hours was because the hospital over here is as slow as Moses. You could come in with an axe through your head and they'd treat the sprained ankle patient first...

But Grampa is okay now, because he left this world at about eight last night. It was quite horrible, but he didn't feel it, really. But, yeah, the roller coaster ride with him is now over, and he's most likely dancing with grandmother right now.

A really nice piece. I have to say that I had began to wonder who solumber was on deviantart. Occasionally I do searches to see what people are saying about SF online and I often came around to your account. Is that a reference of me ?

One of mum's friends may possibly getting married, and a friend from church who is in her fifties apparently has a boyfriend. He's a cool dude, too. He's retired from the army, and he's really geeky and epic. Had a lovely time chatting with him. So, basically, I'm hoping for selfish reasons that they end up actually getting married.

With mum's friend, it doesn't have much of an impact because that friend is British and we never see her anyways. But it would still be epically awesome if they were wed. ^_^

Also, my brother is now addicted to Minecraft. O.O

Has for me I have been wasting my time in more creative things . For the past 3 months I have been working on the construction of a fox costume. It is starting to look decent and for the most part is almost completed. will need to post one or two images on the forum. It will be useful at halloween where I never know how to dress up and possibly at work over the summer to animate people.

Minecraft is a recently made, very famous yet simple sandbox game with simple graphics which has no real set goal apart from survival. The world is made of blocks of varying materials, and you explore, build, and create as you go along, defending against monsters that appear in caves and at night as you try to live through another day. Or, you can go to free build and just build things for fun. (And the possibilities are near endless)

It is really fun. . . until you go underground. >__< Dang Creepers. . .

Though they are soon adding dragons to the game, which look EPIC!

I found alot of construction ideas online, but it also has a bit of personal touch to it. The design is all mine with with some inspiration coming from real pictures of grey foxes. Other ideas came from problem that I observed while wearing a mascot costume for a christmas parade. I looked like a big sun, shold upload a picture of that

This is the mascot of my summer employer. The picture was taken after the Christmas parade on the 17th of December. It might have been -16C outside, but after 2:30 hours in that costume you probably felt like you had been in a steam bath . I am aware that this is a sun we are talking about

Well I was originally suppose to be on the float, but I spent all of it walking. It might have been hard, but it was certainly worth it to do it that way. Being able to walk up to people really make them really happy and I had never given this many hugs in my life.

As for my news...I's getting a new bike soon! We've been randomly and seriously blessed with the kindness of a not-quite-stranger, who decided to buy a bike for me and my brother.

Also, bro and I are going to be getting our first job come spring. It isn't a 'real' job, as we'll just be doing some yardwork for a nice old lady at the end of the street, but it's still a job and we'll be taking in a bit of money for it. Tried to tell her we'll work for free, but she's ridiculously adamant and is convinced that her yardwork is difficult enough that she should pay us for doing it. *Squee*

So, basically, right now I'm in search of a good place to donate my cut of the money to. Probably going to wind up donating to firefighters/police, as they've got a bit of a special place in my mind for whatever reason, but does anyone have any suggestions for other places that should be donated to?

Well, I'm going to get paid more than once, so maybe I could donate to both? I'd kind of like to know what each of the charities specifically does with the money they're given before I really decide. Most likely going to cycle it out, as in give to one charity one week, another the next, each time I acquire any funds. ^_^

I can somewhat understand where you're coming from Cerf. But usually I tend to ignore people like that when they criticize my writing without any constructive advice. Getting in fights over stuff like that can lead to nowhere, so you have to know when you need to just back off. If she's gone to flaming you and your friends in anger, then I would go ahead and report her.

I don't think that this forum is dead yet. CP still is writing, and traffic will increase with each novel he plans to release. (8 books already planed, with at least some Inheritance related) I think that also the RP training would be good. I myself was a bit nervous coming in.

. . . *sigh* I'm not feeling well. They ripped out my wisdom teeth yesterday, and boy am I in pain. I have like 12 stitches in my mouth from the surgery, and while the pain meds help, they also make me feel sick.

The darker stories usually tend to be the more interesting ones to read. Usually because more is at stake and the costs are higher. Sort of like my writing, where everything seems to be on the very edge of disaster and the main character is struggling to reach his goal. (It's the course that I think that CP should have taken in writing Inheritance, which is why I'm writing a fanfiction in that same manner.)

Yeah, the book was rather mellow. Brisingr had a better sense of urgency and action than Inheritance did, by far. In fact, if I was Galbatorix, I would have used the Varden to my advantage; playing them into believing that they had a chance before ultimately crushing them. Actually, if I was Galbatorix I wouldn't even consider them a significant threat. Something like that in Inheritance would have seriously darkened the mood and made it far more entertaining.

Not to mention the actual fight was so short and simple. It would be slightly cliche, but I would have rather had Eragon fight him on all the different fields of battle, such as on dragonback, magic, and in an ultimate sword duel, with it being a near defeat for Eragon every time, to make it more interesting. Also, I would have added something else before then that made the fight more personal; something that would make Eragon eager to kill Galbatorix, unlike in this where he is just targeted because he's the ring leader and hadn't made any real personal offense towards anyone.

My fanfiction is on another site. (However a link for it is provided in my sig) Yes, it's named Inheritance. I actually guessed the name before CP did. Even stranger is the scary similarity between Fìrnen and my green dragon's name. Made me paranoid for some time that he was getting ideas off of me or something.

I need to go back and reedit the first chapters however. . . It was actually my first time writing whatsoever and I made a lot more mistakes back then. . .

Well, the bashing on the writing site continued.

So now I've officially left the website. Blanked my profile, took down all but one writing, and I'm not going back until I've published a book. Sick of the drama there. I don't mind getting constructive comments on my work, but when they're being flatout insulting, and haven't even read the story, that makes me mad. So now I've decided that the only people who need to see my work before it's published, are my friends. I trust them to give constructive critique when it's needed.

And now I feel so much better, so I'm going to hug you all and go to bed early ^_^

I agree that posting writing in places filled with hard critics can be hard on yourself as well. The place that I post my works luckily have mods that enforce the writing rules with an iron fist; where every comment has to be a fleshed out, constructive critique or the hammer will be dropped on them.

But my style of learning is quite different. Usually, when I receive a bad critique, I simply eliminate the problem in my writing from then on to take care of whatever they think is wrong, and help me raise the bar for myself. One time someone asked for me to write longer chapters. The next chapter was twice as long.

Yet still probably the best people to give you pointers and advice are people who you know will give you respect no matter how bad or good your writing is. Have a good night.

All I see is like around 5-10 post on a good day, back then it was like 10-25 on a bad day. Where did everyone go?
