I think that in the end the Ra'zac will cause a lot of harm to eragon, the varden and the elves but in the end they will be defeated!

of course eragon would defeat the ra'zac cause they are weak at sunlight and i don't think eragon would be so stupid to go in the night to fight with them

I know that they are weaker in the sunlight but they are vital to Galby and I think now that their is another rider, and Eragon has grown more powerfull, Galby wont let the Ra'zac go unpretected, and we know a lot more about them but I still think their is more to them than meets the eye.

I don't think there's much more to develop on the Raz'zacs; they are most surely to have a role in book 3 since the general public opinion is that the 3rd egg is in their lair in Hellgrind.

I think that in book three Galby will realize how strong eregon is and send them on a suicide mission which consists of

a. a suicide mission which involves a character of importance (it could be anyone) to be killed or themselves
b. a hostage mission where they will be sent out to capture a character of importance (it could be anyone)
c. they will get killed before any of the above happen.

wat i think will happen is that eragon and roran will go kill the ra'zac at the beginning of the book, and there they'll find the 3rd dragon egg.

I think that the varden and elves will steal the egg back and the ra'zac will be sent out to find it. They will die... Then the egg will be given to Ayra to protect. It will end up hatching for her and then in the end Galabatrix and Murtagh will have to fight Eregon and Ayra.

Some people think that the green egg was moved from it's inpregnable hidingplace in Galbatorix's castle (why, i don't know) and he put it in the Helgrind with the Ra'zac. They also think that Roran will go there with Eragon to rescue Katrina and he will find the green dragon egg and it will hatch for him.
