Post Mistakes
I have researched The Inheritance trilogy many times on the internet and I have seen that every site has made the same mistake :!: :!: :!: :!: They have said that MORZAN was Murtaghs AND eragon father, when in fact, if you read eldest properly, murtagh said to eragon that the twins had seen the connection between them, not by fathers but by their MOTHERS. Murtagh said to eragon that his MOTHERS name was selena and so was eragons.

They did not say ANYTHING about them having the same father!

I can't beleive I'm the only one to notice this mistake :!: :!: :!:

Actually Murtagh did tell Eragon they had the same father, but not by directly saying it. When he took Zar'roc from Eragon, Murtagh said something to the effect of "it (Zar'roc) should go to Morzan's eldest son, not his youngest." But I do agree that the connection the Twins saw was through Selena, and that they only presumed Morzan to be the father. Personally I believe Brom is Eragon's father.

I personally belive that the twins saw the connection between Eragon and Murtagh and presumed alot. I think Brom was and is Eragon's father (he is said to come back in Empire) the information that supports this are :
1)Eragon has premotions about the future, Brom was the son of a couple that were illuminators( i think) and could see in to the future.
2) It says in the book that Brom fell in love with a woman but he failed in that. This could mean he failed to protect her from Morzan and didnt want her to get her so let her go.
3) Brom was a rider and had a blue dragon and worked against the Empire, Morzan was a rider and had a red dragon and worked against the Varden, the colours match and sides match the sons.
4)CP likes to create twists in the tale.
5)Blagden says that both father and son were as blind as bats. I dont no how this connects to Brom being ERagon's father but i do no that Morzan never went to Ellesmera so therefore Blagden would have never met him, so how would he know what father and sone were oth like???
6) Brom seemed very proud of Eragon as he died, blessing him.

I dont no if anyone else belives this but these are just what i have read and thought about, if there are anymore plz add them

theres 1 more ( got this info from http://www.Shur'tugul.com)

while 2 may share 2 ( eragon and murtagh share the same parents morzan and selena) and one of two is certainly 1 (the mother selena is the same parent of both sons) one mite b 2 ( one parent, the father, mite b 2 fathers , brom and morzan, each having one of the sons)
that waz 1 of the riddles hopefully thats not 2 confusing! :D
