I think Roran will be the next rider:
becuse why would CP take all that time to build up his image
He's already done the impossible by taking his whole through Agaesia
He wasen't afraid of Saphira like most people
He killed the twins, and alot of Galabortrix's soildgers
and pretty much people related to Eragon keep getting dragons: Eragon, Murtagh, Morzan

No, Arya's going to be the next rider. Roran would never be strong enough. To make a difference, the next rider has to be an elf. Time is also a factor here. Roran would have to go through MUCH more training than Eragon, and Oromis would surely die before half of his training is compleat. Arya, on the other hand, is already a master in spellweaving and swordsmanship.

you are right. roran has to get through all the training that eragon faced, and he will not get half human,half elf too soon. AND THERES NO TIME FOR THAT

it's a possibility yes but the most obvious and likely choice is arya. everything that has happened in the books and her background and the information we have gained thus far points directly towards arya. i think roran will make a good leader in battles and stuff but i am having serious doubts that he will be the next rider...for me arya will be.

Ok, Arya is a good possability and all, but what if Eragon go back to Ormis and Roran dosen't want to wait to go get Katrina, and then Roran runs into a shade that works for Galbatorix and he says he can help him defeat the razac and rescue Katrina, and so he goes along with it and he dosen't know the man is a shade, and then he captures Roran and then Galbatorix forces him to do the same thing he did he did to murtagh, but when he faces Eragon in battle ends up breaking his oaths in the AL and joins Eragon.

What ARE YOU CRAZY??? There aren't anymore shades working for Galbatorix. It's hard to not know someone's a shade, noting their blood red hair. AND IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO BREAK YOUR OATH!!!!

Mabey he alterd his apearence like the elves. Any why are you so sure there aren't anymore shades mabey there's a new one that was training or some thing like that. Are you sure, I know that's what Oromis said but Eragon said to Murtagh that he could if he just tried. So I don't know it's just a really stupid theroy.

It might be stupid, but I still like it. And even if Arya dose become a rider she still has to go through some training becuse she dosen't know the secrets of the riders.
