I hope they don't cut to much out of the movie from the book because when this happens I completely end up hating the movie. This has happened in a large number of movies, like harry potter and the goblet of fire and harry potter and the prisoner of askaban. Who else here thinks that the movie would suck if they cut too much

Me. But if they didn't the movie would be really long and then it would probably suck because of that.

if they don't cut scenes from it it may take several hours to see the film. so they must cut scenes to have the lenght of almost 2 hours

i like long movies like lotr and i didnt like the 4th harry potter at all ( i liked the book ) because they took out so much and if u hadnt read the book, like alot of people didnt it would have been confusing.. so if they do this to eragon i will be verry mad because i'm looking forword to seeing saphira and all the other characters that i had to imagin (spelling is bad) while reading the book

They better not cut to many scenes out unless the part is a very very small part in the book. If it loses as much as the 4th Harry Potter movie then I'll give it a low approval rating.

ya, same here.. i thought.. like i said above (i think) that the 4th harry potter had so many cut scenes it was pretty much pointless to even make it.. even tho it had good graphics

From one part on that trailer, I suspect that parts of the movie may be shown through Saphira's point-of-view. Take another look at the trailer to see if you can spot what I'm talking about.

I dunno though. Why would the guy playing Eragon be following the direction of the camera unless he was watching Saphira. Even if I'm wrong you've got to admit it would be cool to have a Saphira-point-of-view.

The states and school districts are working on a plan to do something like that. My history teacher kept saying that with a odd look of longing on his face. Acted like my class was evil or something...

ya.. but the budgit was only 1million.. so they couldnt have had made it long with good graphics cuz it would have cost to much

Still, with that amount of money (extracting everything else and leaving what was left for graphics) it should still be a good movie.

ya.. i keep on going to the movies and seening random movies trying to see if they will play the eragon trailer .. lol i didnt even like half the movies i went and saw.. lol like superman returns.. RETARTED

Yeah, that's what a lot of ppl are saying. I was going to go see it to see if I could glimpse the Eragon trailer, but some ppl on the forum went to see it and they said it wasn't on there so I didn't bother.

ya.. right after i went and saw it i came on the forums and i read this new topic about eragon trailer not in superman returns and i almost shot the person who posted it.. i was like WOW WHY DIDNT YOU POST THAT 4 HOURS AGO?!?!?! and i was mad at them

I'm not sure that CP is the kind of author that lets ppl make a movie out of his book and then let them chop it up just to make it a reasonable length. I watched a movie once, I can't remember what, and it took up the most of 4 hrs. It was a really good movie based on a really good book.

yes but i read in one of his interviews that he had nothing to do with the production of the movie.. so i dont think that it was up to him what they did with the movie
