It's definitely got to be Arya! She's, to me, the strongest out of all the elves that we have seen in the books. She is wise, intelligent, very skilled warrior, and she is very experienced and skilled at mna y things. She has shown massiv ecourage even through the darkest times and she is already in my eyes a great leader. She's got the brains and the heart to be a leader so why not her. She has so much potential and great abilities that would suit her as a great leader of the Elven race. Votes got to go to Arya!

well i think that arya leaves with eragon, so she is cut out of the picture. CP doesnt introduce an elf worthy of that position yet, so i think he might in the third book

Yeah, she's gone. Maybe there won't be any elves.... kinda like LOTR. It may not happen, but the boat seems familiar.

Oh yeah I forgot about that...darn! Well then I guess it probably is another elf then although if she did not leave then she probably would be the next leader without a doubt.

AnnieBees theroy is that she will pass away during the third book like all the other leaders of the races. If Ayra is willing to lead she might but otherwise it might be an elf that has had lots of contact with humans and elfs

If Arya does not leave, as in the dream that Eragon has and the prophecy then I have no doubts what so ever that it may very well be Arya afterall...I mean she is heir and princess to the throne and stuff. The Queen may very well pass away, but I am hoping not. I don't know I am unsure as to whether Arya will leave or not but I know that she would be the leader in a heartbeat.

That's true... Though she may decline. Remember the arguments that she perfected with her mother that she didn't have to suceed the throne?

If she became a Rider I dont think she would want to be a ruler too.

How can Aray be the next Queen? She will be a rider (if the theorie is right) and therefor has other things to do than leading the elves! Builiding up a new generation of riders, for example.

I like Elvenwarriors theorie. Or the counsil one, it's good, too. If there was a new King or Queen it would be some other elf we don't know yet. There is a whole book to come! We can't know all important characters yet!

he is so absalutly correct. that boat is familiar... i think it plays off from were the elves leave middle earth and this was the land or some of the land that they were talking about. altho it would have mentioned hobbits but then again there were only to that went so ya theres somethin to jumbl e round.
